Taking baby steps

Eunice + Martin = Zechariah

Family session

Blessed with beautiful weather that morning, I picked Martin and his family up and set off early for the botanical gardens. Shooting family portraits with kids between the ages of one to two are no mean feats hence it was not surprising that it took Zech a while to warm up before the camera. One takeaway I got from this session was that we take small steps every day and upon looking back, those steps all add up and eventually you realized how much closer you are to your goal than before. Indeed, patience and perseverance are virtues we can adopt to enrich our lives!

F1 weekend crazies

September was indeed an event-filled month as our tiny island hustled and bustled with a string of blockbuster events. The biggest amongst them needless to say, was the hosting of the Singapore Grand Prix as many organizations hosted their own private events during that same weekend. This year was especially packed for me as I ‘teleported’ myself between events and was thankfully, sustained by the Lord’s grace despite the many intermittent rests in-between assignments. The highlight this year was the Johnnie Walker Circuit Lounge parties hence these images so party on!

Privileged to have been appointed to cover The Music Mentorship concerts organized by Noise Singapore once more. These concerts showcased eighteen young, aspiring bands and musicians looking for a breakthrough in their music-making and whose repertoire ranged from experimental to alternative rock. Picture Perfect

Engagement

I met this lovely couple through an event I covered a couple of years back and we remained friends ever since. As they are heading to Switzerland for an indefinite period in slightly short of a month’s time, they decided to document their delirious hangover post engagement with a short e-session over at the western side of sunny Singapore which they shared fond memories of. Although the weather wasn’t exactly perfect that morning, the opposite could be said of the love between Mel & Jonas that is aptly summed up by Jodi Picoult,

“You don’t love someone because they’re perfect,” she says. “You love them in spite of the fact that they’re not.“
