Tokyo Street Snaps 二

To complete the triptych, this album pays tribute to the lively street fashion culture as regularly seen in the metropolis. As my sojourn in the fashion mecca was rather brief, attempts to capture snapshots of trendsetters in Shibuya and Harajuku proved somewhat futile. What is considered current in this series may be regarded as outgoing since there are so many different fashion styles and subcultures that alternate with every season. Places featured here include Akihabara, Asakusa, Omotesando, Shibuya and Tokyo Disneyland.

Tokyo – Shibuya Crossing

An album dedicated to this famous intersection. The moment of organized chaos could be perceived simply as a flurry of movement or as a flux within the space-time continuum. You could include this iconic landmark into your to-do or must-see lists when you visit Tokyo. In order to witness and be part of this mad hustle, I made three visits during my short stay there and spent roughly about forty-five minutes each time to experience the momentary confusion in the middle of the crossing. Most of the shots were either taken from waist level, blind shooting overhead or from the Starbucks nearby which provided a prime view of the said spectacle.
