The year started off with a bang when I covered a friend’s solemnization which coincidentally, took place at the same venue where we first got acquainted (more than a decade ago). Thankfully, the pre-event showers failed to dampen the overall mood of the guests. In fact, the fresh air and soft light that appeared soon after were simply God-sent. The stage was set and soon the bride, who was ravishingly beautiful in a modern Cheongsam, walked down the aisle with her equally dashing groom.
