Outdoor family session
It is always nice to be back home in Singapore after the new year! Yes, when the days are bright and sunny, fluffy clouds drift across the clear blue sky and lush greenery swaying to the beat of the warm summer breeze. My friend (and ex-colleague from a decade back), together with her spouse and two very energetic kids are here for a month long vacation. We decided to put together a short family outdoor session on the first week of the new year when the north-east monsoon season is right about reaching its tail-end. It was a sunny morning as expected and the warm vibes from the family set the tone for the shoot. Glad to have spent and enjoyed a good couple of hours with this lovely family. Hope you get to savor as many sights and flavors for the remainder of your time here!

Engagement
I met this lovely couple through an event I covered a couple of years back and we remained friends ever since. As they are heading to Switzerland for an indefinite period in slightly short of a month’s time, they decided to document their delirious hangover post engagement with a short e-session over at the western side of sunny Singapore which they shared fond memories of. Although the weather wasn’t exactly perfect that morning, the opposite could be said of the love between Mel & Jonas that is aptly summed up by Jodi Picoult,
“You don’t love someone because they’re perfect,” she says. “You love them in spite of the fact that they’re not.“
